MICHAEL THIEL

Michael Thiel is a 48 year old Brussels-based freelance videographer, filmmaker and video editor specialized in music videos, live sessions, short documentaries and portrait videos. He studied and graduated from the Academy For Fine Arts of Brussels as a painter before switching shortly after to photography, leading to take part in several exhibitions in Belgium.

In the late 2010’s he initiated another turn by learning videography.

Michael has directed/shot/edited/graded several music videos, live sessions, theater and dance videos, as well as little documentaries, portrait and corporate videos.

Some of his regular clients have been Belgian national television RTL-TVI, tour management company HIGHWAY HOLIDAYS (BE), bands such as THOT, GOODBYE FORTUNE TELLERS, SIAN ABLE, LA JUNGLE, SAWARO, ELISABETTA SPADA, HIDE (US), dance company AGOSTINA D'ALESSANDRO, the fashion brand BORN IN BERLIN (IT) and others.
